What Qanzari is
Qanzari (قنزاري — from kanz, treasure) is a UAE perfume house — from the Gulf, not adjacent to it. We compose Arabian perfumery — oud, rose, vanilla, wood — with the restraint of the European niche tradition. Each composition is small, considered, and made to travel: worn with an abaya in Abu Dhabi, a cashmere coat in Paris. Same bottle, two contexts.

Why some bottles carry a number
Every composition leaves the bench with a code. Most houses replace it with a name before the bottle ships. We kept some of them.
The number is the composition — where it sat in the work, what it was called while it was being made. Where a name was truer than a number, the name stayed: Lamees, a soft touch. Jawaher, jewels.

What the materials actually smell like, and which composition carries them. No mystery, no marketing fog.
Arabian oud
Agarwood resin, warm and a little animalic, with smoke behind it. The deepest material in Arabian perfumery and the easiest to overuse. We use it where it earns its place.

Neroli
Bitter orange blossom. Bright and slightly green, closer to the leaf than to the fruit. It opens a composition without sweetening it.

Damask rose
Rose with the sugar taken out — cool, green at the edges, never the supermarket bouquet. It takes its time arriving and does not shout when it does.
Madagascar vanilla
Vanilla as a cured pod, not as icing. Dry, a little woody, faintly smoky. It reads warm rather than sweet, which is the whole difference.

Palo santo
Holy wood, burned. Resin and smoke with something citric underneath. It stops a vanilla from turning into dessert.

Patchouli
Earth after rain, with a dark edge. It gives a fruity composition somewhere to land, and it is what makes a chypre a chypre.

Sandalwood
Creamy, dry, quiet. Sandalwood does not announce itself — it holds the other materials together and stays on the skin longest.
Cedar
Pencil shavings and dry timber. A clean wood that keeps a soft base from going heavy.

White musk
Skin, warmed. The material that makes a perfume read as part of the wearer rather than as something applied.
Leather
Tanned hide, smoke, a trace of tobacco. It gives fruit a spine and turns a sweet opening into something with weight.

Is Qanzari a UAE perfume brand?
Yes. Qanzari is a niche perfume house based in Dubai, composed and bottled in the UAE. The name comes from kanz — treasure. We're from the Gulf rather than adjacent to it, and that's the difference you can smell: Arabian materials handled with the restraint of the European niche tradition.
Do Qanzari perfumes contain oud?
Some do. Desire 99 is built around real Arabian oud. The rest of the line — Lamees, Jawaher, Vanilla 44, Q77 and Q50 — is oud-free, carrying its depth through rose, patchouli, sandalwood, leather and vanilla instead. We use oud where it earns its place and leave it out where it doesn't.
Are Qanzari perfumes for men or women?
We compose for the person, not the gender. The lines are a starting point — Desire 99, Vanilla 44, Q77 and Q50 sit in the men's line, Lamees and Jawaher in the women's — but the notes tell you more than the label does. Anyone whose skin agrees with a composition will wear it well.
Why does Qanzari cost less than the niche houses it resembles?
We sell direct, with no retailer margin, and our standard size is 50ml rather than 100ml. The composition, the materials, and the craft are not compromised. The savings come from the model, not the product.
What size are the bottles?
Every composition is 50ml eau de parfum. It's a size you can finish while the perfume is still at its best — shelf life is 36 months from production when the bottle is stored upright, out of sunlight and away from heat.
Where do you ship, and what does it cost?
Free anywhere in the UAE — not an offer, simply how we ship. We also deliver across the GCC at a flat rate, calculated at checkout: AED 40 to Oman and Saudi Arabia, AED 50 to Bahrain and Kuwait, AED 60 to Qatar. Orders leave within one business day; UAE deliveries usually arrive in one to three, the wider GCC in three to seven. Unopened bottles can be returned within 14 days.
